I have found that our pharmacist is more help than the doctor at times! I always ask her advice on medication and especially interactions. Hope that things can settle a little for you.
Perfect simple border, love the little peeks of patterned fabrics in there. I'm looking forward to seeping more of your spider web blocks.
I'm so pleased we have no coyotes here in New Zealand, they sound way to close for comfort at your place.Mystic Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13233427034920359604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7481577725397935350.post-63873989490991043362018-07-15T11:45:02.001-04:002018-07-15T11:45:02.001-04:00 My mom always said people do not use their pharma... My mom always said people do not use their pharmacist enough! Hope you got it fixed. The idea for the border works very well. I’ve enjoyed watching that quilt go together. Having a development move out certainly hasn’t decreased our bunnies or squirrels around here, although I wish it would have. We do get coyotes but they generally don’t come up by right by our house but I always worry about the chickens as they have gotten into them before when I’ve accidentally left the door to the coop open overnight. I spoke to the fish and wildlife preserve guy about the problem back then and he suggested throwing firecrackers out the door to scare them off. Granted, he said, they will get used to everything eventually, but it might be enough to make them move on. He also let us know they will jump in 8 foot fence if they know there is food on the other side. ( our new coop and run is completely enclosed now—top too—so I don’t worry about them getting in so much as long as I never forget to shut that door!). The coyotes are still kind of fun to hear, even if they are pretty creepy sounding.Cheree @ The Morning Latte https://www.blogger.com/profile/05537258163077932864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7481577725397935350.post-14696419221237985342018-07-13T11:08:52.904-04:002018-07-13T11:08:52.904-04:00Hope the pharmacist's idea works. You've ...Hope the pharmacist's idea works. You've had a long hard road. Just when you think it's getting better, something else happens. We have coyotes in the area, but none in the neighborhood, judging by the number of rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, moles, etc that we have. To say nothing of the deer which have made gardening impossible. I just keep telling myself I'm getting too old to garden anyway, but I do miss my hosta, daylilies and roses.
PatMissPathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06807348837446241284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7481577725397935350.post-13054963945961846572018-07-13T10:50:57.169-04:002018-07-13T10:50:57.169-04:00Sorry about the recent health problems. I'm pretty sure we don't have any coyotes here in town but towns not far away are dealing with them on the properties at the edge of town. My worse predators are huge raccoons that come visiting after dark. I know what you mean just looking at something and being unable to do anything about it. I just love the border you put on the quilt. Not sure what is going on, but we have had bear sightings, and one having to be shot just 10 miles from Buffalo. I think with less farming all around, the fields have turned into forests and the animal population has increased. I do not like coyotes, I think they are destructive. A lot of them spotted in the second ring suburbs around here. I live a block from the city line, so it has not been serious for me yet. I've tried one block, quilted it and then washed the block. The dryer sheet held up just fine and didn't need to be cut away after stitching. They would work well I think for blocks/triangles that fit that size. Your garlic knot borders finish that top very sweetly, and will give the blocks more stability at the edges. Love your inclusion of the darker strips too. I'm happy to hear that your pharmacist may have found an answer to your current fluctuating condition with the B/P drops. Praying for you my friend.Quilting Babciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16225825007525655805noreply@blogger.com
