A conversation occurs that follows these lines......
He says....We have to go to bed early tomorrow night.
She says....Oh?
He says......Time changes. Be sure to change the clock in your sewing room.
She says......So, if I want to get up at my usual time of 7 am, what time will it really be?
He says.....8 am.
Light bulb goes off in her head.
She says.....So, I can set the clocks back tomorrow afternoon by an hour, and you can set them ahead an hour before you go to bed. Then I can get up at 7 am. Right?
He says---with a pained look on his face......NOoooooooooooo! I am not having this conversation.
If you agree, set your clocks back!
I will be stitching, no matter what time it is :)
*LOL* It is not my favorite day of the year. I can't stand to lose an hour--there are never enough in a day anyway, and then they take one of them away. Hardly seems right.
ReplyDeleteI usually just get an hour less sleep that night.
Love the picture of the clock! : )
LOL, I'm already dreading tomorrow morning, I feel like I just adjusted my internal clocks to the last time change.
ReplyDeleteokay fine, let's change them this time..but then we leave them - Okay???
ReplyDeleteAll of my clocks are computerized so they change automatic - just my old kitchen clock (battery operated) and I change it to the correct time when I have to change the battery.
ReplyDelete...I despise this time of year! Takes me a month to get adjusted to this spring forward stuff.. *bah humbug*
