I decided to celebrate virtually.....the pollen count has soared in this area with warmer temps....so not hanging quilts outside. Instead I am just showing a few of my favorites. Enjoy your weekend ......sew on!
The World is a Garden.....of course it is!
Charming Bricks wall hanging.
Plume Crazy....given to a friend for comfort.
Mountain Reflections.
Happy stitching!
Nice quilts. I still haven't gotten up to my sewing room today. Too many phone calls.
ReplyDeleteHa, ha- warmer temperatures. Pretty chilly here. But sunny today and in the 30s. Love the florals. I just have to finish a floral quilt. Good enough for a briske walk which I did earler.
ReplyDeleteNice quilts! The bricks have me thinking of vines climbing all over them. Been in my sewing room for hours now. :o). I want to get out but still a little chilly, tho it is sunny. Supposed to be warming up next week! What this whole country needs is to get outside, and to open up houses and businesses! Fresh air everywhere! Happy sewing!
ReplyDeleteI love these! I can't even pick a favorite; I like them all. It's just above freezing here but was sunny today. We are now under a Shelter in Place order, told to stay inside our residence. I spent most of the day quilting. Take Care! ~Jeanne
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these oldies but goodies again!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the quilt show. The only one I don't remember from the past is the first one. It's hard to pick but I think I'm liking Mountain Reflections the best today (tomorrow may be a different one...:) Your selection brightened my day!
ReplyDeleteAs always, I love your flowers! I put out three of my quilts , I hope someone enjoyed them. Lots of people out walking, even in the cold sun. We were too. Can't spend all our time inside.
ReplyDeleteThe World is a Garden is gorgeous, but I also really like the Charming Bricks wall hanging. ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteYou have such a way with the florals, Debbie. Each one of these quilts has your signature touch, but I have to say the way you manipulated the fabrics in that first one is stunning!
ReplyDeleteA virtual show of your work is a gift. Thank you!
I didn't even think about pollen when I hung my quilts outside. I was so worried about the rain that was threatening. And we did end up dashing out in the middle of dinner to snatch up the quilts, which are now spread over the solarium furniture, drying out.
Love the virtual garden quilt show. Happy Quilting!
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing all those beauties again. We've had a cool, wet weekend but expect to be up to 90 degrees by Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteAll of your quilts are lovely. Thank you for the visual inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI am staying away from the pollen as much as possible too. We had rain last night so hopefully that has helped lower the pollen count.
Ah! Like a breath of fresh air! But without the pollen count :)
ReplyDeleteWe've been away for 10 weeks and got home Thurs afternoon, so I've been grocery shopping to stock up before our state quarantine went into effect last night. Stuck in the house now for the duration, I guess, so it's time to pull out the UFOs and start sewing. I appreciated the calming thoughts in your previous post.
