Meadow Mist is having a linky party for 2015 posts. So I pulled out a few favorites to share.
A humble scrap quilt gains the honors as most viewed post. It was what I called the 2 patch + 4 patch pattern that is a version of the rail fence.
See the post here.
The post with the most helpful comments was about the plumes for a border. I received wonderful input and this ended up being a favorite quilt.

Favorite photo of the year. ...Summer Potpourri shimmering in the sunlight. The post is here. A log cabin quilt made using the quarter log cabin block.
My favorite tip for the year.....use a clapper to achieve flat seams! The post is here.

Happy stitching.
Beautiful quilts!! I love all of them! :)
ReplyDeleteI found the process of pulling posts to link up with Cheryl to be a fun way to review my 2015. I hope that you have a wonderful 2016, and I am off to explore some of your posts here. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your favorites from 2015. I remember all of those posts & you picked some real winners for your 2015 favorites. I think about your clapper almost every time I press seams & am so glad it made it to the "favorite" list. I'm looking forward to seeing what new creations you & your talented DH come up with in 2016. Blessings to you both in 2016.
ReplyDeleteWhat a collection of favorites from this year, I love your use of color and print throughout your quilts! Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteAn awesome year! Great job on all the finishes and posts! Happy New Year and here's to 2016!
ReplyDeleteWow, love your Plums corner
ReplyDeleteWhat a great selection of posts to highlight your year. The picture of Summer Potpourri is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great scrappy quilt and can see why it was a favorite. It would be a nice way to do a postage stamp quilt without getting bored working on tiny pieces.
