Today all is fine. The storm has passed directly over us with very minimal damage to our area. We had some winds on Saturday, and rain began in the afternoon. Sunday was more rain....light mostly. But it was a painful day for me....I found out on the weather last night that the eye passed directly over us. That low pressure had been giving me high pain for the weekend.
We did hear from a cousin who rode the storm out in Wilmington. No power, all wind and rain for 72 hours. Damage to the roof from limbs with some leaking spots. Little sleep with the house temperature at 88 degrees. They had no flood damage being on higher ground, but they sought relief in the car on Sunday afternoon. They got it out of the garage and turned on the AC for some soothing cooling. That must have been a wonderful few minutes.

Good to hear that all is well there. I hope you're feeling better today. Every county east of us is on flood watch tonight and tomorrow with the remnants of Florence passing over us. We are right on the fringe.
I am glad to hear that you are doing well. Those pressure systems really affect us a lot more than many people realize. I hope that has passed for you as well.
Low pressure makes many people uncomfortable from migraines to joint pain, myself included. Glad to hear that you are OK. We got significant rain, but no damage to our property. There may be some flooding in the low valleys, but not nearly what the authorities were afraid of.

I am glad to hear you were not in the severe storm path, but I understand how the barometric pressure can affect the body. I'll bet dramatic pressure swings like you experienced are very difficult on an already delicately balanced system!

So glad to hear the good report. It's always such a tense time when those hurricanes pass over. Hope your pain is better now that the storm has passed & the pressure has increased. Thank you for letting us know how you did in the storm.
I am so relieved that you didn’t have all the flooding that could have happened. I do hope you are feeling better now that the storm has moved on.
Sorry about that "weather pain"--that's no fun AT ALL! But glad the storm is over.

Like everyone else, I'm glad to hear the storm is gone and your property did not suffer, but sad that your body did. We had a tiny bit of rain last night from the remnants, but the bulk of the storm stayed south of us (and really not that far). Today we have sunny skies, cooler temps and less humidity, but another rainmaker is heading for us on Friday.
As always, one day at a time, and you will improve.

Hooray for no damage, but I'm sorry that the low pressure has given you pain. I hope that subsides as the storm moves away. The remnants are here in New York, making for a rainy, gray day.

Hurricanes are no joke. I remember our power going out for over a week in extreme heat, and eventually we had to go to a hotel to even sleep! Dependent on AC are we.
