Hello from my space in Rehab

I was  transferred to a rehab unit yesterday from the main hospital.  I've been in a chair for a few hours just to see if my balance is functioning yet---not quite working.  Thank you all so much for your prayers to lift and encourage me.  I never dreamed that everything would turn upside down.
For now just let me say how much I appreciate each one of you. I have tough days ahead and intend to do what ever is required. I am very tired now but just wanted to give thanks for all of you.

Love and Hugs
  Deb

It's so good to hear your "voice" again. I hope you regain your strength and energy soon. We aren't usually ready for life's surprises but positive thoughts will speed you along.

Look after yourself. You've been in my thoughts this week. Thank you for your updates (and the update from your husband). We would all have been very worried without them. X

Each day will get a little bit better. So happy that the doctors finally figured out what was causing this and have you on the road to health again. Take care my friend!

So good to hear from you, and grateful you are up to emailing. Take it as it comes... having been through this myself not too long ago... with serious reactions to medications as my complication... you are healing, no matter how you feel!!! So much love and prayers are surrounding you and we know you are feeling it. A blanket of hugs and blessings.

Good morning Deb and thanks so much for the personal update. It means so much to all of us who are loyal followers of this Blog. You are taking a giant step onto Recovery Road and will continue praying that it won't be too long before you've reached the end of that road. Hugs

Good Morning! Thanks for the update - it sounds like you are on the right road to recovery. The road may be long and bumpy - sometimes it helps to look back and see how far you have come. My prayers for you continue and I'm also sending hugs. ~Jeanne

My goodness, Deb, hugs and prayers are the least we can do. I feel a little silly because it seems like all these ladies have been following you for a while and I've only just arrived a few months ago, but I appreciate what you have created here for our benefit. Please take care and know that we are all here. xoxo

What a joy it was this morning to see your post! I'm so glad they have you in rehab now & that things can progress as they should. I know it will take time & patience but you WILL be back home soon & feeling much better. How do I know that? Because God answers prayers! One day at a time for you, my friend. Please thank "Sir" for updating us.

One step at a time, one day at a time. Glad you made it to rehab. Take all the time you need. We'll be waiting. Thanks to Sir Old Man for providing the earlier update. Be well.

Wow, Deb...somehow I missed Sir Old Man's post. Take good care, my dear. One day at a time. You'll get there. We're all pulling for you. It's hard to be patient, and I know you just want to get home.

What a pleasant surprise to see your note this morning! It's a great step to be in rehab now and to progress as you gain strength.
Take it slowly and you will get to where you need to be. You have a lot of people who care and you are in our thoughts and in our hearts.

Congratulations on your improvement. Have read your blog from the beginning and look forward to your posts. From one in rehab to another starting, each day takes work but I know you can do this from just reading your blog. My prayers are with you.

So glad your on your way to being healthy. Answered prayer. Slow but sure is aggravating sometimes but it may get the best results. God's timing is definitely perfect. Still praying.

So glad you are in rehab now, and out of the hospital. Still praying that things turn around for the better for you, and that you will heal quickly. Some things take longer for us to bounce back from, so, don't get discouraged if you take longer than planned, or, if you take a step backwards.

I had balance issues for several weeks after my surgery in February. I was relieved when it finally seemed to get back to normal. Take it slow; ask for help. A fall is the last thing any of us need. Be patient; we're here waiting.
